We seek a dynamic and energetic head of department to join this successful comprehensive school of 1,027 students (including 130 international boarders) with a large rural catchment area. We are situated in Milnthorpe on the Southern Fringes of the Lake District between Lancaster and Kendal.

Humanities is a very successful and popular faculty. There is large uptake at A’ level and outcomes are consistently very high both at GCSE and Post 16. The department offers an excellent career opportunity for both NQTs and established teachers.
