Head of Humanities Position 

Rainham School for Girls are looking to appoint an inspirational, highly skilled Head of Humanities Teacher with the ability to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5, to work within our enthusiastic, dedicated Humanities Faculty. An ability to teach Geography is preferable. This post will attract a competitive Teaching and Learning Responsibility.

In this role you will have responsibility for leading our innovative Humanities team and raising attainment further across all Key Stages and in all disciplines. 

The preferred candidate will: 

· be an inspirational teacher of Geography across the key stages 

· be able to motivate and collaborate with staff to plan and teach engaging lessons which support  students to make rapid progress 

· be able to establish strong relationships and have excellent interpersonal skills 

· demonstrate a passion about the role of Humanities within education 

· be up to date with curriculum developments and be innovative in implementing them across Humanities.
