The students will need to reinforce their analytical and critical-thinking skills, as well as source selection and use of argumentative essays (especially given that they have been 2 years virtual learning). You will be responsible for diagnosis, planning, imparting of classes, evaluation and grading for the students in the second half of the school year (August-December 2022), and then into a new school year, starting March 2023.

As Humanities Coordinator, you will be tasked with supervising the implementation and improvement of the curriculum of Humanities (which includes Social Studies Peruvian Studies and Global Politics and Citizenship). Implementation of a three-year History, Geography and Economics course for Secondary students will be one of the main challenges you will need to face. You will also need to carry out observations and give feedback to teachers within the Department.

You will also be required to meet parents, liaise with the psychologists, in case of any socio-emotional or learning issues, as well as coordinating the move of your students up a grade in December and your upcoming students from grades below.

For over six decades, we've been opening doors to students of different backgrounds and providing them with a safe environment to enjoy the best life-changing experiences.

At CPB, the students will expand their mind and skills through our international curriculum, influenced by both British and Peruvian culture. With an excellent IB Diploma Programme, we prepare our students for success, whether they make an impact close to home or while connecting with others across the globe.

Our students are part of a globally conscious culture that reinforces the values of responsibility, respect, honesty, and solidarity. We’re proud of our supportive community, nurtured over the last six decades.

The school was founded in 1963 by the British educator Mrs. Alwyn Robinson, MBE, inspired by the principles of British education in a Peruvian context. Our goal is to blend the best of both educational systems to offer a high-quality curriculum to our students, keeping up with the latest education advances.

Since its founding, our school has built upon its strengths, becoming firmly established as a premium school in Peru. We’re proud to celebrate 20 successful years delivering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, obtaining excellent results year after year.
