The successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic leader who will be able to contribute to the development of our ICT and Computing Department and help drive forward our agenda of continuous improvement. The ICT and Computing Department is a busy and cohesive department, who work together to achieve the best for students. ICT and Computing is a popular and thriving department which attracts good student numbers at both GCSE and A-Level. As a school our academic results are exceptional. The Howard School previously achieved very high rates of students gaining 5 A* - C grades including English and Mathematics at GCSE, and our strong Progress 8 score from the last two years for all groups of students demonstrates our commitment to each and every one of our learners. We remain one of the most consistently performing non-selective schools in the South East, and continue to challenge the stereotypical view of underachievement in young men.
