Slough and Eton is looking for a great teacher to join our ICT and Computing department as its new subject leader. Both ICT and Computing are popular subjects at both Key Stages 4 and 5 and we need a new leader for the team who will further develop both subjects and maximise examination success.
The department has a dedicated suite of 6 specialist rooms and benefits from access to the latest desktop technology. At KS4 we run GCSE Computer Science (OCR) and the OCR Cambridge National in ICT Level 1/2 Award/Certificate and at KS5 we offer the BTEC National and A-Level in ICT. All are popular subject choices for students. The new leader of this team can be from a computing or ICT background and needs to be hardworking, dedicated to ensuring pupils and students of all abilities can succeed and, crucially, a great classroom teacher. Previous experience of examination success at either KS4 or 5 is essential although there is no requirement to have taught post-16 previously.
Slough and Eton is a great school on the outskirts of Slough, which serves the Chalvey community. Our new Headteacher joined us this September and we are relentlessly focused on ensuring great teaching, learning and experiences are at the core of what we do. Slough and Eton is a great school and I am immensely proud to have joined it as Headteacher in September 2017. Pupils and students at Slough and Eton are expected to work extremely hard and are encouraged to achieve their very best in all that they do. As a result of their tremendous work ethic they achieve extremely well and we are very proud of them. We believe in educating the whole child and as such place great importance on the many cultural experiences we provide for pupils and students as well as the academic ones.
