Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science (formerly Nanwai King’s College School) is seeking a Head of ICT to join a learning community that integrates the best of international and Chinese education.
Reporting to the Director of Teaching and Learning and the School Executive Committee, the Head of ICT will serve as a role of model of outstanding teaching practices for all staff. The successful applicant will also have oversight on all related curriculum areas, including both English and Chinese National Curriculum.

About the Role
Operating in a whole school capacity, the Head of ICT will lead a dynamic and experienced team of ICT teachers consisting of both Chinese and International teachers. A strong curriculum offering is complemented by our extensive house and co-curricular programme, requiring coordination with other staff supporting the ICT programme.
The Head of ICT fulfils several important management roles. This person is responsible for the effective organization of the curriculum program and contributes directly to formation of and reflection upon policy initiatives. This includes leading the department through curriculum conversations to enhance the learning experiences and learning spaces for all students.
Working in close partnership with management and administrative staff, the Head of ICT has oversight over all teaching within the department through the coordination of schemes of work and the publishing of a comprehensive subject handbook. The Head of ICT also participates in the selection, appointment, review and appraisal of all departmental staff.
About You
- Bachelor Degree or higher
- Skilled and Qualified Teacher
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
- Management Experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Skilled in Instructional Planning, consultation, coordination and general teaching competencies
- Previous experience with educational evaluation strategies

Opened in September 2018, Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science's mission is to educate well-rounded young men and women who will make a positive contribution to society. We support each pupil to reach his or her full potential through the foundation of three systems: academic, co-curricular and pastoral.

- A pre-school for pupils aged 3 to 6 years catering for Chinese and expatriate children and offering a bilingual programme based on EYFS, international and Chinese curricula.

- A high school for Chinese and expatriate students, providing a wide range of IGCSE and A Level courses. The IB Diploma Programme will be implemented from September 2021.
Our state-of-the-art facilities include a large multi-purpose sports hall, a 50 metre indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, playing fields, 400m running track, well-equipped laboratories, art rooms, drama studios, performing arts auditorium with capacity for 800 people and extensive boarding facilities. A river runs alongside the campus and a boat house has been incorporated into the campus design.
Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science is a partnership project between Dipont Education, King’s College School, Wimbledon, and Nanjing Foreign Language School (Nanwai).
King’s College School, Wimbledon is an independent day school for boys aged 7-18 and girls aged 16-18 in Wimbledon, SW London.
