The Governing body are seeking to appoint a passionate Head of ICT to lead an outstanding department.

King’s is an 11-18 school that was founded on traditional values. The school is highly regarded and significantly oversubscribed.  In the 2018 national performance tables, King's was ranked in the top 2% of schools in the North West.

IT is taught at KS3, with the option for students to also follow Computer Science at GCSE and A level.  The faculty is forward thinking and has established a scholarly community, where innovative teachers develop talented students.  For the successful candidate this is a unique opportunity to join a superb team and shape the department's future success. The curriculum is innovative and knowledge-based, with students from year seven up to sixth form genuinely enjoying their IT lessons.  Departmental schemes of work and materials are of a very high standard and support teacher work-life balance through minimal marking and research-informed pedagogy.
