Head of Inclusion 

Aldar Academies are seeking an outstanding Head of Inclsuion for Al Muna Academy commencing January 2019. The school is a high achieving British Curriculum school from FS1 to year 6.  Outstanding teaching and the use of first class resources and facilities ensure we deliver a rich and varied curriculum in an inspiring, creative and memorable way.  The successful candidate will be able to deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. Also, possess energy and enthusiasm to deliver lessons that engage, enthuse and motivate our learners. 

Requirements:

•  A qualified teacher with a range of teaching experiences (desirable 5 yrs+)
•  SEN Qualification (Masters level or external certification on an aspect of SEN)
•  Previous experience in leading SEN / Learning Support in a primary/secondary school
•  Warmth, empathy, credibility, self-belief, integrity, drive and child-centred 
•  Proven ability  to lead and manage a team
•  Proven ability to work with external specialists
•  Capacity to identify, assess and inform provision for students with SEN
•  High level of interpersonal and communication skills with all stakeholders
• Cultural sensitivity to the needs of our community 
•  An efficient and effective communicator and manager of information and documentation
• Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age   and ethnic background
• A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check
