About the role:

We are looking for a Head of Inclusion to lead and manage Ark Schools’ approach to SEND and inclusion (including behaviour, exclusions and attendance) and, in so doing, ensure that all our schools meet their responsibilities under the SEND Code of Practice and other relevant legislation.


This is an exciting new role at Ark – providing you with an opportunity to shape our approach to inclusion and to make a real difference to our children and their families.


 

About you:

Qualified Teacher Status, with a SENCO qualification

Substantial and successful experience of leading and managing SEND, inclusion and attendance at a senior level within a large and complex organisation

Experience of using data to identify insights and subsequent actions

Experience of developing policy and guidance and successfully managing change

Experience of leading people and teams that you have not directly line managed but have gained alignment and engagement through influence and relationships

Personal alignment with Ark’s high aspirations and expectations of self and others
