Caterham is one of the UK’s leading co-educational schools. It is well placed for access to town and country: the beautiful two hundred acre site is five minutes’ drive from Junction 6 of the M25, twenty minutes’ drive from Gatwick and a short walk from the local station, with several trains an hour into London.     


The School is seeking to appoint on a full-time contract, a well-qualified experienced musician and conductor to join our music department. The successful applicant will be an excellent musician, conductor, communicator and practitioner with experience in team management and the ability to inspire young people. The Head of Instrumental Music will collaborate with the Director of Music in creating exciting vision and new initiatives specifically for instrumental music.
