North London Collegiate School Dubai seeks a Head of Islamic Studies

Founded in partnership with Sobha Group, North London Collegiate School Dubai will provide the same academically ambitious education and outstanding range of other activities for which North London Collegiate (UK) and NLCS Jeju (South Korea) are well known. 

This selective, coeducational day school, will cater for students aged 3 – 18 and it is intended will offer the IB Programmes throughout the age range. The School will be located within the prestigious Sobha Hartland Development, close to the Burj Khalifa and ‘Downtown’ area of Dubai and will boast impressive purpose-built facilities.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Humanities and will work closely with a team of specialist teachers to consistently deliver the highest standards of academic provision throughout the School. The Head of Islamic Studies will be responsible for providing intellectual, academic, spiritual and cultural leadership for the design and implementation of a comprehensive, dynamic and interdisciplinary Islamic Studies programme. He/she will plan and perform at the highest level of professional academic and pastoral care, ensuring integration and alignment of subject-area curriculum and classroom instruction with the overarching, school-wide standards and framework.
