Bexhill Academy is seeking to appoint inspirational and enthusiastic leaders to join our school through the next stage of its development.  This post will attract those candidates seeking to make a real, positive change to student outcomes in Maths.   Our motto “Be Brilliant Today” sums us up.

The successful candidates will require exceptional interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence, alongside an ability to set a vision, confidently nurture, and develop staff teaching in each Key Stage so that children are inspired to love Maths. You will be part of a large department, with 12 with well-qualified staff.  We support each other – with a strong ethos for teamwork. This is a great place to work.

In return, we can offer an environment where you will gain whole school experience and learn much on your journey to senior leadership and headship.

Our school is unique, exciting and innovative – our philosophy is inclusive and founded on respect.  If you feel this fits with your own value set and you have a track record of leading change, raising standards and you strive for excellence, then this might be just the role for you.

We aim to recruit staff who:

• Will subscribe to the ethos of the Academy and be committed to get the very best from our students;

• Are excited by their role and the prospect of challenging young people to achieve their very best;

• Love the processes of teaching and learning and are keen to continually develop their own skills and at the same time recognise that teaching can be a demanding job and react positively to those demands;

• Take every opportunity, in and out of the classroom, to talk to students, model expected respectful behaviours and build positive relationships with all;

• Remain at the forefront of pedagogy, educational research and debate.

Closing Date: 9.00am Thursday 27th January 2022,
