Head of Key Stage 2

Initially, one year fixed term contract covering maternity leave

Salary scale – MPS+TLR / UPS

Southfield Primary School is seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Head of Key Stage 2 to start on 20 April 2020. SPS is going through the process of joining the Warriner MAT and we are looking for someone with enthusiasm, vision and drive to lead Key Stage 2. You will become part of the school’s Senior Leadership Team. Working closely with the Head Teacher and wider MAT Improvement Team, as Head of Key Stage 2 you will lead the development of that phase of the school. This post has a 0.8 teaching commitment in Year 3. The successful applicant will be ambitious for the school, understand the importance of organisational culture and the role it plays in school improvement, be a clear communicator, proactively engage in educational research and drive improvements across all aspects of Key Stage 2. Being part of a highly successful MAT means that there are opportunities to contribute to all our schools whilst drawing upon the significant experience of our existing MAT leadership team.
