"To lead in the provision of knowledge and skills for work, in support of London's economic success"

To achieve this we have five 'non-negotiables':

  • Clear standards for all, rigorously enforced
  • The 'right', flexible, responsive product
  • Break-even finances
  • Effective partnership development
  • A uniform and effective approach to learner recruitment

CNWL is committed to providing an environment where all individuals are given the opportunity to achieve their potential. This means that we aim to remove all forms of discrimination at the College, such as bullying, harassment, and inequality as a result of a person's age, race, disability, colour, nationality, gender, religious affiliation, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic.

The College is situated in one of the most multi-cultural and diverse communities in the country. We see this diversity as our strength and the student population at CNWL reflects this diversity. Embracing the concepts of diversity and equality is about making an effort to recognise that people in the College are of different religious, cultural, ethnic, and racial backgrounds, are of different ages and genders, and have different physical and mental abilities.

CNWL works hard at promoting equality and diversity. Every year there are events relating to equality and diversity, such as celebrations of Black History Month across all three centres.
