The Prince of Wales Island International School (POWIIS- Tanjung Bungah Campus), located on Penang Island, Malaysia, offers the Head of Learning Support an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly competent, caring learning community. Applications are invited from experienced special needs teachers who are passionate about working with children and helping them thrive. You should be familiar with English National Curriculum expectations, and willing to work with a curriculum which takes into account our regional context. You should be a highly resourceful, forward-thinking professional, with a deep understanding of learning. You will be working with motivated students and have access to excellent facilities and resources while working in an environment that values innovative practice. Please note, all teachers are expected to contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of teaching experience in the U.K. or at a recognised international school. All applicants must also hold a bachelor’s degree, and/or a post-graduate qualification in education (i.e. PGCE, DipTch).
