You are invited to join ELCHK Lutheran Academy, a bilingual school in HONG KONG entering into its 9th year of operation in 2018/19. Our school offers an ICT Infused Inquiry Driven Curriculum to primary and secondary students aged 6 - 18. We are currently an authorized IB World School, Diploma Program (DP) and obtained candidacy for the IB MYP and PYP.
Role description:
- Aligns technology resources and personnel with the strategic objectives of the school
- Leads innovation through professional networks
- Delivers Design and Technology/ Integrated Humanities/ English Language lessons to secondary school students
- Models the use of learning technologies and ensuring the integration of technologies (MacBook, iPad, learning platforms and so on) into curriculum and learning programs across the school to support the school’s learning framework
- Provides the leadership and direction needed to improve administrative operations through more effective use of technology
- Design, develop, communicate, implement, review and evaluate the school-wide technology planning in both instructional and administrative applications
- Plan and conduct regular training and in-service sessions for school personnel
- Works collaboratively with the Department of Academics, Program Coordinators, subject conveners and teachers to implement applications in instructional technology that enhance student achievement in all curricular (PYP, MYP, DP and DSE) and subject areas
Minimum Qualification Requirement:

B. Ed, TC, PGCE, PGDE or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Relevant teaching experience is highly preferred

Up-to-date knowledge and skills in ICT literacy

Able to teach other subjects (English Language, Integrated Humanities, Integrated Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Visual Arts, Music, Drama, PHE, French Language) is an added advantage
*Successful applicants will go through a qualification assessment in HK and must be able to successfully register as a teacher with the government.

Remuneration Package
- Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and tenure (local income taxes apply)

- Contract length: 2 years renewable on mutual agreement
