We are pleased to be seeking to appoint a Head of Libraries to promote and support reading across all areas of the School.
Roedean is at a very exciting time of its development, with its best ever academic results, unprecedented growth in pupil numbers; development of first class facilities across the site and the launch of the Roedean Group of Schools. We welcome your interest in being part of our continuing journey.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Librarian to join Roedean, and we would like to hear from highly motivated individuals who are educated to degree level and have knowledge of the library and/or bookselling sector, ideally in an independent school.
The successful candidate will have the experience and energy to relate to and support our pupils. We are looking for someone who is kind and dedicated to ensuring that every pupil succeeds and gets the support and encouragement they need, as well as having the insight and communication skills to build strong relationships across the school.
Whilst the role would suit someone with experience we are also keen to attract applicants whose experience may not, as yet, cover all aspects of the role.
Please download an application pack from our website www.roedean.co.uk/vacancies or contact Louisa Butler via firstname.lastname@example.org or 01273 667657.
Closing date: 9am, Monday 23 July 2018.
Interviews will be held 20/21 August 2018.
Roedean is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants.
