The Head of Marketing & Admissions manages the student recruitment cycle from pre-entry to the completion of enrolment for students on all funding streams. You will manage the work and staff of the Marketing and Admissions departments to meet the Group’s strategic objectives and student recruitment targets and to ensure that all functions are performed in a timely, efficient, and effective manner, in accordance with approved procedures.

Inspiring, leading and managing innovation and change in an open and professional manner, you will ensure the delivery of successful and innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives and develop new routes to market, including the latest digital as well as traditional platforms. You will manage the design and implementation of client-orientated enrolment, admissions and progression processes that meet the needs of the College and our diverse client groups, and take accountability for Admissions data, ensuring it is accurate, complete, and reported in an accessible manner to enable managers within the Group to effectively plan and improve their curriculum offer.

This role requires someone who has a thorough understanding of the Education sector and who has experience of developing and delivering successful admissions and/or enrolment processes or a process-driven service to aid a positive student experience. Striving to shape the Marketing and Admissions services to meet the needs of internal and external clients, you’ll have experience of planning and delivering a range of successful and innovative student recruitment and marketing campaigns and of working with external agencies and suppliers, managing the quality of their output.

We need someone who has previous success of managing and motivating teams and who has a proven ability to work effectively as a team member, as well as train and develop staff. You’ll have excellent communication, public speaking and interpersonal skills in order to manage relationships and have a good attention to detail, a creative approach to problem solving and willingness to be innovative when improving the client experience. We’d also like you to have a positive ‘can-do’ approach and be able to work under pressure, be organised and meet tight deadlines.

Appropriate qualifications including a Degree or Postgraduate Marketing qualification is desirable, but not essential.
