The maths department has a record of sustained improvement with a dedicated and experienced team, working with well-resourced facilities and enthusiastic learners. The successful candidate will build on improving results to continue to raise standards, strengthen partnerships and ensure positive outcomes for all our students.
We are looking for:
• An excellent classroom practitioner with an understanding of how children learn
· A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
· Someone with a clear vision of the role of mathematics and numeracy in a well-rounded education
· Ambitious, with the desire to develop your skills and whole school understanding in preparation for a senior leadership role

About Fearnhill School
Fearnhill School is a mixed, comprehensive secondary school with sixth form in Hertfordshire serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Letchworth Garden City has approximately 520 students on roll.
Fearnhill School was built for Hertfordshire County Council and has facilities including a music suite, drama studio, nine fully-size teaching laboratories and good IT provision. A sports centre is also on site, complete with a gymnasium and tennis courts.
