SALARY: Between £45792-£48498  

Are you a dynamic and highly motivated classroom practitioner and an excellent mathematician with a proven record of raising attainment? If so South Dartmoor Academy is the school for you.  South Dartmoor Community College is an 11 – 19 mixed comprehensive school with 1200 students located on a stunning site in the Dartmoor National Park. We are part of the South Dartmoor Academy comprising 2 secondary school and 6 primaries. We have a large successful sixth form with Maths and Further Maths as very popular student’s choice.  We are looking to appoint an ambitious and talented person to deliver outstanding achievement for every student throughout our academy. You will be exceptional practitioner who will be innovative and inspirational, ambitious and resilient. You will have strong communication skills with an ability to manage change; Demonstrate you can motivate both staff and pupils to achieve the best possible outcomes and be able to teach maths confidently at A Level including Further Maths.  If you feel that position is of interest and you have the right experience, skills and are ready for fresh challenges, with ambition to make a meaningful impact then we would like to hear from you.  The successful candidate will be subject to references and an enhanced DBS check.
