The Blandford School is a successful school with high aspirations for our students and is situated in the beautiful county of Dorset, 30 minutes from the beaches of Poole and Bournemouth and 40 minutes from the New Forest National Park.

Due to the promotion of the previous post holder we are seeking to appoint a dynamic and forward thinking Head of Mathematics to continue to build on the improvements that have already been made to the development of the subject at The Blandford School. Mathematics has gone from strength to strength in recent years with a positive progress score in 2019 and strong uptake post 16. The Mathematics teaching team is strong with a good mix of experience and a commitment to improving their pedagogy to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach at all Key Stages and the support of a range of TLR holders in the faculty along with a dedicated SLT line manager to support them.
