Founded by the Sisters of Notre Dame in 1869, Notre Dame is a well-established Catholic College which relocated to a new state of the art premises in September 2013. Initially an all girls’ school with a mixed Sixth Form, girls and boys have been admitted into year 7 since September 2012. It is now fully coeducational.

The Governors would like to invite applications for the post of Head of Mathematics to lead an already successful department and continue to drive standards forward.
We seek to recruit an experienced, highly committed, outstanding Mathematics teacher to undertake the role as Head of Mathematics. He/she will be well-qualified, have extensive subject knowledge and be able to teach through all key stages to advanced level.
He/she must be able to establish excellent relationships with students and colleagues, be flexible and show evidence of his/her ability to work well within a team, be able to demonstrate clear leadership qualities as well as having excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Mathematics department is committed to raising academic standards for all students and to strive to ensure every student reaches their potential.
