Head of Mathematics

Tes are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of Mathematics on a full-time permanent basis from September 2021. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join  a Good rated, 11-16 academy based in the large, friendly, north-east town of Middlesbrough. Taking a holistic approach to education, valuing vocational, practical, creative, and academic qualities equally and since joining an established family of schools in 2015 they have been undergoing a transformation.

The school are seeking an excellent teacher with the ability to deliver at key stage 3 and 4. You will also have the leadership experience and the ability to challenge individuals within your team whilst supporting them to achieve outstanding results. The school are committed to delivering the best possible mathematics curriculum and the Head of Department will be working strategically with Directors of Mathematics, a network of outstanding Heads of Mathematics and Senior Leaders across the family of schools.
