Head of Mathematics (Secondary)
Due to our continued growth, The British School of Tashkent is seeking enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Mathematics Teacher of the highest quality for vacancies in our growing school. Candidates should possess a commitment to helping children achieve high academic standards in a lively and engaging manner, whilst incorporating differentiation and an awareness of a range of learning styles into their daily practice. Candidates should also be willing to cooperate as an active member of our team and contribute to the vibrant extra-curricular life of the school. Leadership opportunities may exist for suitable candidates.

We are seeking teachers who:
Are UK trained or have relevant UK national curriculum experience.
Have a positive work ethic and are reflective practitioners.
Are skilled at differentiating to meet the needs of different abilities as well as for children with a range of EAL needs.
Can promote a well organised and stimulating learning environment in line with school policy.
Show genuine enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive approach to students.
Are committed to constant improvement of an already vibrant curriculum.
Have good interpersonal skills and work well in a team.
Possess strong IT skills and IWB experience.
Are reflective and seek to develop their classroom practice, including a strong commitment to involvement in peer observation.
Have a clear understanding of AfL practice in the classroom as a means of ensuring maximum participation in lessons.
Are adaptable & are able to teach / interact with children of a range of ages across KS3.
Experience of set up, preparation and delivery of IGCSE examinations and coursework.
Are able to offer a second subject, ICT, Art, PE or French desirable
Understand the value of consistent application of school policies.
