Tes is seeking an exceptional Head of Mathematics to join an 'Outstanding' graded school in Southwark on a full-time basis from September 2020.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an Outstanding, dynamic, exceptionally popular and progressive school set in an award winning educational learning environment. Examination outcomes makes it one of the top performing non-selective schools in the South London area.
The school is therefore seeking a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic manager to work closely with a Lead Practitioner and other staff to raise attainment even further within a large and aspirational faculty. The Mathematics Faculty provide a highly renowned scholarship programme for students who demonstrate an acute aptitude for the subject.
You will be passionate about mathematics, well qualified, inspirational and driven, with an outstanding track record of raising achievement in your own classes and across groups of students. The ability to teach A-Level courses would be an advantage.
The school expects:
- You to hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
- You to have Qualified Teacher status
- You to have appropriate and successful experience and/or qualification in the teaching of Mathematics
- You to demonstrate the ability to maintain the highest expectations for all pupils
