Required to start in Easter/September 2023, we are looking for someone that possesses the skills and determination to make a significant difference. A passion for mathematics and the ability to enthuse young people. This should be coupled with the desire to support our young people to reach their full potential. You must lead with integrity, a strong moral purpose and an ambition to be the best you can be. 

You will be an excellent teacher with leadership experience and the ability to challenge individuals within your team whilst supporting them to achieve outstanding results. You will be joining a highly innovative, inspirational and ambitious organisation, so we are seeking only outstanding candidates who can realise the highest possible quality of services to support our educational vision. 

We are committed to delivering the best possible mathematics curriculum and the head of department will be working strategically with directors of mathematics, a network of outstanding heads of mathematics and senior leaders across the Family of Schools. This role will prepare you, should you wish, for senior leadership within the Family. We are members of the Outwood Institute of Education which provides high quality professional development for all staff.
