Job overview

An opportunity to join a positive and forward thinking team in this over-subscribed school.  We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative leader who is passionate about making a real difference to the quality of learning in mathematics for all pupils.  You will need to be able to: 

• enthuse and motivate both pupils and staff with a passion for mathematics and an insistence on only the highest of standards; improve standards by sharing the knowledge and skills required to achieve outstanding classroom practice 

• present a clear vision of how you will achieve high standards of attainment and be able to communicate this to all members of the school community 

• show that you have the resilience and determination to lead and manage a successful team in achieving high standards in mathematics 

• show that you are capable of leading significant improvement within a maths department
