The current post holder has been here for over 30 years and during that time her dedication, skill and leadership has moved the department to a very strong position. There is now the opportunity to take the department further and we are looking to recruit an outstanding teacher with a passion for Maths, keen to make the department one of the best in the country.

This post requires someone who is a top mathematician, ably qualified to teach the full range and as delighted to teach those who find the subject demanding as they are to teach those aiming for Oxbridge courses - the real joy of working in a community in which everyone's efforts and achievements count. You should be able to demonstrate your track record of success and personal qualities to show how you would align with our Trust’s ethos and objectives.

Bordering the Lakes and the Dales and yet surprisingly well-connected, for over 400 years we have forged a strong community ethos providing ‘Scholarship and Care’. We’re immensely proud of our commitment to the highest quality teaching and learning coupled with extraordinary pastoral care. Building on our long successful history, we launched our sister school in September 2017 creating a small multi-academy trust of our 2 schools, the Lunesdale Learning Trust.
