The successful applicant will be a creative and dynamic leader who will ensure the highest attainment in students’ outcomes, who will support colleagues to flourish to their absolute potential and to who will champion their subject with contagious passion and enthusiasm. They will already have some experience of Middle Leadership within Maths and be looking to build upon our excellent departmental foundation to firmly establish Mathematics as a pillar upon which KS4 attainment. They will also be aspirational for their students, their staff and themselves, expecting that all stakeholders can work towards personal betterment at all times.
Our quest for excellence, must, however, also be combined with our unwavering commitment to care and support. Therefore, anyone seeking appointment to this role must demonstrate warmth, humour, resilience, and above all, emotional intelligence in order to uphold the values of our school.
