St Patrick’s is a voluntary aided 11-16 mixed comprehensive school providing high quality Catholic education for the children of Thornaby and Ingleby Barwick, townships within the borough of Stockton-on-Tees.  There are presently 565 boys and girls studying in the school.

St Patrick’s is very highly regarded in the community it serves.  We have a reputation for securing high standards of behaviour from our students and our care and development of the children makes us a very popular choice for parents. The school is heavily over-subscribed.

We are a community of faith as well as a school and the spiritual life of St Patrick’s is of prime importance.  Staff and students have regular opportunities to pray together and the liturgies of the Church are routinely celebrated.  Students are encouraged to deepen their relationship with God and to respond to what He is calling them to.

The students of St Patrick’s are very sensitive to the needs of others and respond with great generosity to those in need.
