Head of Maths

We have recently made the transition from a middle school to a secondary with a new Key Stage 4 provision and plans for future growth. Our Maths department aims to provide all pupils with all pupils with first-class numeracy and analytical skills to prepare them for further education or employment.

Ofsted recently stated: 

‘Teaching and Learning is improving rapidly because of powerful leadership. Students behave very well around the school, have positive attitudes towards their learning and feel safe.’

We are seeking an inspirational leader who:

• has  a real passion to make a difference and an ability to form effective      relationships at all levels;
• will lead a team of Teachers and work with colleagues and pupils to create an aspirational and successful department to, ultimately, help deliver improved outcomes for pupils;
• will be committed to creating a culture of professional development focusing on high standards of teaching;
• will be able to enthuse, motivate and inspire staff and pupils alike;
• is able to teach Maths to GCSE Level and to lead the subject area.
