The Charter School East Dulwich is an inclusive, entrepreneurial secondary school serving the vibrant communities of East Dulwich and South Camberwell. Going into our fourth year of operation, we have recently moved into a multi-million pound, state-of-the-art permanent school buildings. We are one of the most heavily over-subscribed new schools in the country, with more than seven applicants for every place in Year 7.
From January 2020 we are looking to appoint an inspirational Head of Mathematics who shares our heartfelt commitment to educational excellence and social inclusion.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader and strategic thinker with a proven track record of leadership and management in a secondary school. Experience of leading a mastery curriculum.
They will:

All students study at least to GCSE level. The School curriculum builds methodically on the foundations laid in primary school. It is coherently sequenced to provide all students with the opportunity to progress to the next stage of their education, be it academic, professional or vocational.
The curriculum is made ‘desirably difficult’ for all students. Every individual receives the right combination of support and challenge to achieve their personal best, irrespective of background or personal circumstance.
