About the School

GEMS Al Barsha National School for Boys, Dubai, is relatively new school which opened in September 2016. It offers an inspirational curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England with Arabic language and UAE culture, heritage and tradition at the heart of everything. As an all-through educational provision, the school currently caters for children from FS1 to Year 10 with plans to grow to Year 13 in successive years. FS provision is co-educational and Y1-10 is boys only. FS boys are educated in the GEMS Al Barsha National School for Girls, which is adjacently located within the school campus.

The school enjoys a prime location making it easily accessible to everything that Dubai has to offer as well as other Emirates. About the Role

From September 2019 we are looking to appoint a Head of Maths to join our existing team and support our growth in to KS5.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader looking to enhance their career and gain valuable international exposure with a global leading company and world class School located in the heart of Dubai.

The successful applicants will have the following:
A Bachelors degree in a related subject (Ministry of Education requirement)
A certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years Experience of teaching in a UK curriculum school
The desire to provide Outstanding teaching and learning
Aspiration to work in a world class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
