At The Emmbrook School Media is a very popular subject and there is good uptake at KS4 and KS5. Students regularly go on to study Media at university following A Level. We are looking for a dynamic leader who will move the department forward.
If you have a proven track record of securing excellent results for students, coupled with the correct blend of leadership, management and interpersonal skills to be able to motivate students and work closely with a strong team of teachers, we look forward to hearing from you.

The Emmbrook School is a co-educational 11-18 comprehensive school which has been at the heart of the community for over 50 years. The Emmbrook is located in a quiet residential suburb of the historic market town of Wokingham. Wokingham is a thriving town, which regularly tops nation-wide polls of the best places to live in the UK. In addition to a wide range of local amenities, there are excellent transport links, including to nearby Reading and London.
The school is committed to playing an active role in the community which we serve and our students regularly support the work of local primary schools. We are committed to fundraising for local and national charities, notably through our traditional fundraising week. Our students also support students from Addington School, a nearby special school, with an annual trip to our outward bound centre, Tirabad, located in the beautiful Brecon Beacons.
