We have a unique opportunity to appoint a dynamic and innovative Head of Modern Foreign Languages to take responsibility for the development, progress, and attainment of languages throughout the Prep School. The successful candidate will have proven leadership skills and have a strong academic background as a graduate in Spanish and French. They will have the drive and determination to lead further forward a thriving and successful department. Our ideal candidate will be an outstanding practitioner, able to inspire and motivate, leading by example.
As the head of MFL you will be required to develop both Spanish and French across Pre-prep and Prep School, inspiring students to develop a passion for the different cultures. This includes working alongside colleagues within the Senior School preparing students for a smooth transition through to GCSE and A Level curriculums
The successful candidate will be building on strong foundations and be able to think strategically and plan for further growth of the department. for example developing a scholarship programme and enhancing the relationships with our sister (International Schools Partnership) schools in Spain.
