Head of MFL

The Governors wish to appoint an outstanding teacher of MFL with the enthusiasm, skills and knowledge to be the Head of Subject and the ability to lead the department through its next stage of development as we seek to introduce new languages into the MFL curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to undertake the strategic responsibilities of the post and would suit those with a proven track record of outstanding pupil progress.   The successful candidate will have:  

• experience of successfully teaching MFL to A level demonstrated by results and value added data 

• an absolute commitment to pupils and their learning above all else  

• outstanding communication and interpersonal skills  

• ability to ability to effectively lead and manage change
