An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our new College Management Group as Head of Management Information Systems and Exams. The successful applicant will create, maintain and deliver an effective MIS and Exams strategy and related policies which inform and support current and future development of the College. The post holder will pro-actively deliver accurate, objective and timely management information that is audit and inspection compliant and integral to College strategy and decision-making. It is essential that the post holder also maintains high quality exams provision that supports student success and meets awarding body requirements. The successful candidate will be degree qualified, will have substantial experience working with Management Information Systems and will engender a performance management culture, leading departments that strive to deliver a high quality service.

South Downs College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Hampshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college, located in Waterlooville has approximately 4,500 full time students attending every year.

South Downs College was established in 1974. It has plans to merge with Havant Sixth Form Centre to form a partnership in summer 2017. Facilities include a fitness centre, theatre, training restaurant, hair and beauty training salon and sensory room.
