Job overview

This is a great opportunity to take a pivotal role at the heart of an outstanding sixth form Trust. You will be responsible for data capture and submission systems, but also the provision and use of data across the Trust and through our VLE and website. This is very much a hands-on role, but with considerable input into leaders’ decision-making at the highest levels. It is a senior role and reports directly to the Senior Leadership Team.

You will line manage the Head of IT Services, who oversees the Trust’s IT infrastructure. Most of the work will focus on running and improving the systems at Woodhouse College, but the post includes leading on building MIS and IT systems for the Frontier Learning Trust and helping to establish systems for the new Imperial College London Mathematics School.

We seek someone with excellent MIS and analytical skills with the vision to further the development of our systems. The successful applicant will also have very good communication skills, the ability to interpret complex technical processes for the benefit of managers and users, and outstanding problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

This is a permanent, full-time post (minimum 36 hours per week). The salary will be in the range of £53,910 – £56,706 plus £2,756 London Weighting, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and scope of the post. The range is between L5 and L7 on the sixth form college leadership scale, with pay awards pending.
