Cambridge School of Bucharest is looking for qualified and experienced candidates as it fills an exciting role as a Head of Modern Foreign Languages for AY 2023-2024. We are looking for motivated leader who wants opportunities for growth to join us in our expansion at our new purpose-built campus.

This headship will cover Modern Foreign Languages (French, German, and Spanish). Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, CPD support for MFL teachers, curricula and teaching & learning oversight for MFL subjects, lesson and teacher observations for MFL classes, among other duties. 

This position will also teach French or Spanish in Key Stages 3-5. Candidates need to be fluent in French or Spanish and English. 

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the National Curriculum of England and Wales Modern Foreign Language framework and the CAIE IGCSE & AS French or Spanish syllabuses. Successful candidates will be fluent speakers of both French or Spanish and English with a strong understanding of grammar and usage.

Successful candidates will have a deep understanding of the CAIE IGCSE & AS MFL courses, experience teaching French or Spanish in Key Stages 3-5, and a proven ability to meet the needs and requirements of Key Stage 3-5 learners.

This position is available for Academic Year 2023-2024.
