Required for September 2022, a well-qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of languages to lead our highly successful Modern Foreign Languages department.  We are a regional leader in the teaching of languages, delivering French, German, Spanish and Mandarin.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within our team in a well-established MFL department delivering and further developing the curriculum.  You will have a natural flair for delivering creative and vibrant lessons that enthuse and motivate all students to want to learn and achieve.  You will need have excellent communication skills and work collaboratively with the Headteacher, SLT team and your department.

Colyton Grammar School at teaching school hub and is at the forefront of staff development across the region. As such the school is committed to your professional development. You will have ongoing support from the senior leadership team, and you will be given the opportunity to attend appropriate training and development. You will be given support, to improve the provision of MFL subjects across the school, along with the support of a dedicated senior leadership member to ensure you are able to focus on delivering outstanding teaching and learning. You will also be supported by subject specialists for the delivery of MFL subjects (French, German, Spanish and Mandarin).
