We are seeking to recruit an outstanding Head of Learning Area in Modern Foreign Languages to deliver exceptional teaching, learning and leadership in our 11-16 Catholic high school, set in an inspiring £20 million re-build. The successful applicant will be an aspiring or existing leader with the vision and passion to lead a team of committed, well-qualified and experienced language practitioners in maximising the potential of every student.
You will be an outstanding teacher with the ability to teach Spanish and French to GCSE level. You will have an energy and passion for leading curriculum development, planning and delivering high quality lessons and achieving excellent results for students, instilling in them a love for languages and a desire to learn. Languages is recognised as a highly important EBacc subject at De La Salle, hence almost all of our students continue their language studies to GCSE level.

About De La Salle School
De La Salle School is a non-selective, co-educational, Roman Catholic secondary school for children aged 11-16. It is situated in St.Helens, Merseyside, and currently has 1,200 pupils on roll. It is associated with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool.
De La Salle School has a designated unit for students with an autistic spectrum condition. Students who are members of this unit are fully integrated into the life and work of the school.
