Cranbrook School is looking for a well-qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teacher to lead the Modern Languages Department during the Autumn Term 2018. We are looking for Spanish and French, with the ability to teach Spanish to A Level and French to at least GCSE.
Depending on the language(s) offered, this could also be a teaching post without the leadership responsibility.
Applications are welcomed by Wednesday 23 May and we will be interviewing by 25 May.
This September we welcomed our first cohort of Year 7s, which has added an interesting new dimension to the school.
Although it is a selective school, Cranbrook admits a wider ability range than many other grammar schools. A challenging curriculum is provided for the academic high flyers, while the value added scores that are achieved each year bear testimony to the success of the school’s wider provision.
As well as day students, we have a thriving boarding community which offers great opportunities for staff to become involved (accommodation may be available).
