We are seeking to appoint from 1st September 2019, (or before if possible) an enthusiastic and committed Head of Music with drive and ambition to lead this subject under the management of the Head of Creative Arts Faculty. The faculty consists of Physical Education, Sports Studies (KS4), Drama (Performing Arts KS4) and Music. We currently deliver GCSE Music but are also looking at possible suitable Technical Awards and the successful candidate will be in the position of leading that investigation. As well as the Head of Music, the subject has a part time member of staff who delivers some tuition and KS3 lessons. The post is suitable for experienced teachers.

Tottington High School It is located on the north side of Bury in the village of Tottington, with easy access to motorways. We are a popular, forward looking 11-16 comprehensive school with a roll of approx. 950 students and total of 80+ staff. As an improving school, we are clear and ambitious for its future: it will be second to none. In order to accelerate pupils’ progress within the area of science, we seek a confident and highly driven candidate to join our family.
