The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the Trust including The West Bridgford School and John Flamsteed Community School. In February 2020, the school was judged to be an Ofsted ‘Good’ school in all areas.
We are looking to appoint a Head of Music to teach across the full range of abilities. The successful candidate will also be able to deliver Drama at Key Stage 3.
We welcome applications from teachers who feel they have the ability, enthusiasm and commitment to enhance the lives of students at our Academy; someone who has a true passion for Performing Arts as well as the drive and determination to make a significant, positive impact on our students ensuring all achieve their full potential.

‘The Ripley Academy is located in Ripley, Derbyshire. The School was a founding member of the East Midlands Education Trust when it was formed in September 2014 and the Trust now has fourteen partner schools.
The innovative manner of the partnership between the schools means that The Ripley Academy benefits from the expertise that the other schools have to offer and we can also share our expertise with partner schools too.
