We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Teacher of Music to build a Music Department at our high achieving School. Working closely with the Head of Drama, the successful candidate will develop the performing arts provision. We are looking for a leader with the vision and drive to implement a creative music programme from Year 7 to 11, recognising the talents and backgrounds of our students whilst developing their skills and knowledge.
The successful candidate will possess:
• The confidence and ability to teach Music at all levels
• The professional characteristics to be an excellent role model and classroom practitioner, who is prepared to be innovative in their own teaching
• A clear understanding of the current curriculum, assessment and pedagogical developments relating to Music at all Key Stages
