We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic Head of Music to lead our thriving department from September 2018 on a part time contract of 19 periods per week. The successful candidate will inspire and challenge our able and motivated students through a creative and innovative approach to Music teaching both in the classroom and throughout the school in choirs and orchestras. You will have the ability to teach at KS3 and KS4 initially with the ability to teach at A Level in the future.
Rugby High School is an 11-18 girls’ grammar school with 841 students on roll. The school has a large Sixth Form (more than 50% of students accept places at Russell Group universities each year). Twice judged outstanding by Ofsted, students achieve excellent academic results, enjoy a huge range of extracurricular activities and win accolades in a wide range of areas including music, sport and public speaking.
