HEAD OF MUSIC – PART-TIME
SALARY MPS/UPS + TLR 2C (currently £6,450) including Outer London Allowance

Music plays an important part in the life of our school and we wish to appoint an outstanding music teacher to lead and manage our Music Department from September 2017. The post would suit a well-qualified, enthusiastic and innovative teacher with a track record of raising student achievement and promoting musical opportunities for all students.
Overton Grange is a popular comprehensive school, with around 1270 students on roll and has enjoyed consistent academic success; rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2016. In 2008 the school received specialist status in English and Humanities and in 2011 (along with most Sutton secondary schools) converted from a Local Authority school to an academy.
The school is fully committed to inclusion and has a Hearing Support Department. The school is committed to the CPD of its staff; ‘Staff speak highly of the support and mentoring they receive. Middle leaders participate in a range of professional courses. They share good practice and support each other well to develop strong professional links.
