Head of Nursery

Yago School is a privately owned school located centrally in one of the most beautiful cities in Spain - Seville. We have small class sizes and students enjoy state of the art facilities in a comprehensive education package that starts with infants, and goes through to International Diploma at 18 years. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self starter in our Nursery,  who wants to expand his/her experience at an International School. 

Main responsibilities

Set priorities for the Nursery classes that lead to the best educational experience for the children.  

Be prepared to use personal experience and expertise to support and advise in any class where needed. 

Support the marketing and admissions team and maintain positive links and promote the facility in the local community. Effectively communicate information to prospective families and provide guidance and reassurance to families.

To be responsible, with the support of the School’s Admissions Department, for the successful implementation of a strategic development plan including key factors regarding admissions (maximising the number of enquiries, visits, and enrollments), marketing (acting as brand guardian in the community) and communication (ensuring that Yago School Nursery communicates in a consistent and professional way in the School’s platform,  website and social media).

Work in the appointment, allocation and development of staff and to make the most effective use of their skills, expertise and experience. 

Arrange and co-ordinate parents’ evenings alongside the class teachers/room leaders. 

To proof read reports for the department and work alongside the Early Years Nursery management and Reception teachers to provide high quality reports and provide relevant detail of children’s progress.
