Head of Nursery (Maternity Cover)

We are delighted to be able to invite applications for the post of Head of Nursery (Maternity Cover) at Hurlingham Nursery. 

The appointment will commence April 2022.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and passionate practitioner, keen to maintain and develop the very best in the education and childcare of up to 120 children ages between two and four. They will embrace the core values of Hurlingham, provide inspirational, collaborative leadership and build upon the School’s firm foundations. 

They will be excited by the considerable autonomy available in the role, whilst benefiting from the expertise and support of Hurlingham School (350 children aged four to eleven) of which it is a part. The Head of Nursery sits on the Senior Leadership Team of the whole school and there are particularly close links between the Pre-School and Reception year groups.

Key teaching resources and strategies, especially those covering the Early Learning Goals, are developed and shared in a mutually-beneficial professional partnership. All pupils who attend the nursery setting are guaranteed an offer of a place at the main site.
