Head of Nursery School

Boston Nursery is a popular and friendly school, providing quality teacher-led education for the children of Boston. The Nursery School has provision for two classes each morning and each afternoon, led by fully qualified teachers and supported by qualified teaching assistants. In addition, we provide for two-year-olds in a third classroom.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic Head of Nursery School who:

• is a fully qualified teacher;
• is passionate about children’s learning;
• demonstrates excellent classroom practice;
• is capable of building a team, and leading and motivating colleagues;
• holds a clear vision and high expectations;
• will drive forward improvements and raise standards.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of raising children’s achievement in EYFS. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with parents and the community. The position comes with the equivalent of 2 non-contact days per week.

As Boston Nursery School is in a federation with Kirton Primary School which also has a Nursery, there is a considerable amount of mutual support across the settings.
